The Dark Pictures: House Of Ashes Slated For October Launch, Supermassive Games Reveals

From developer Supermassive Games, the game studio is expected to continue its periodic release for The Dark Pictures Anthology following the release of The Dark Pictures: Little Hope in fall last year. However, the team was also organizing a new project altogether with a new partner at the time, Google.

Yes, in that it was disclosed that then-formed Stadia Games and Entertainment would be working with the Until Dawn developer on a new IP unique to the cloud streaming platform. However, the closing of the internal operation squandered the unnamed project. At the time of writing, it is still unsure on the status or the account of the planned Supermassive Games title.

But, of course, The Dark Pictures: House of Ashes is expected to arrive sometime this year as depicted by the teaser trailer from previously. At Summer Game Fest, Supermassive Games unveiled a new story trailer aiming its release for this October. You can watch the footage in the video below:

The trailer also spares a glimpse at the ‘Pazuzu Edition” Collector’s Edition for The Dark Pictures: House of Ashes. In it, it comes with: a copy of the game, Collector’s Box, Exclusive Stickers, Excusive Art Print, Underworld Creature Figure, and Exclusive Pin. The bundle is told to cost $59.99.
