The Game Awards Teams With Discord To Vote & View December’s Show Via The App

To many players, Discord is an essential application for chatting and congregating online – namely for PC though. But for console, specifically PlayStation is appeared, users would be soon be able to use the service thanks to the minor investment made by Sony previously. This later led to PlayStation Activity being integrated for users with anticipation a voice app will come to the platform soon after.

While users on PlayStation waited, it was revealed that Discord will be slowly rolling out over on Xbox. For Xbox Insider users, the service will test the waters. And it was not too long after that Discord Voice was fully integrated not too long after. Howbeit, PlayStation users remain patient for the official announcement for Discord on the platform still.

In new Discord news recently, The Game Awards announced a new partnership with the chat service to integrate in-app voting for this year’s nominees alongside featuring viewing channels as well come the airing next month. Not only that, but Discord is also the featured brand for the Best Community Support award as well.
