Any information regarding what Sega might have planned to reveal at Gamescom later this week at the slightest is as good as my guess in all honesty. The publisher alongside other companies like Bungie, Square Enix, and Private Division will be announcing new titles in Cologne, Germany for the first time and predicting what exactly the might be is not easy to determine without an exterior motive.
According to Twitter user @Greguisition, a user via Reddit have found an title card for Rocket Beans TV which details that Yakuza 3 will be presented at Gamescom.

But wait, isn’t Yakuza 3 already a title? This would only insinuate that the next title that Sega would happen to reveal if this happens to be true is a remake for the third in the series. Or in better words, Rya Ga Gotoku Studio is possibly working on Yakuza Kiwami 3.
Before getting ahead of ourselves, it should be noted that the next installment for the Yakuza series was previously detailed by the developer to be announced sometime in August. However, there is the slight chance that we could potentially see more than one announcement from Sega as THQ Nordic also prepares to introduce more than one title at the event in Germany.
Ultimately, the best thing for fans to do is keep hesitant towards these leaks until we get official word from either the publisher or RGG Studio later in the week. But don’t be worried, because it was previously reported that the next title that the studio plan to release is currently listed to release sometime this Fall.
The Gamescom Open Night Live presentation will be kicking off tomorrow at 8 PM CEST / 2 PM EST / 11 AM PST.
