On behalf of the reputation Nintendo props up for itself, it comes to be a surprise when information seeps through the cracks for an upcoming release. Especially with the firm being extremely recognized for its tense nature towards upcoming properties releasing – allowing information it chooses to release. In 2021 alone, the firm happened to leak quite a decent amount of its own projects.
Back in June ahead of E3, the Nintendo eShop listed ‘Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope’, a sequel to the titular SOCOM-like title from 2017. The project was later announced at the scheduled Nintendo Direct at the time. Additionally, the Japanese Nintendo eShop went on to leak details retaining to Bayonetta 3 and an unannounced 3D Kirby game. It was not until a separate livestream the firm revealed Kirby The Forgotten Land and a 2022 release window for the PlatinumGames project.
Similarly, Nintendo appears to be performing a similar action with the upcoming Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp. Recently, the game was delayed to spring 2022 from its December release date. “The game just needs a little more time for fine tuning. You’ll be battling with Andy & friends soon! Thanks for your patience,” Nintendo writes in an announcement tweet.
From @CrocOclock on Twitter, the user uploaded an image of the game’s Nintendo eShop page which reveals what appears to be the new scheduled release date for Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp – April 8th.
Elsewhere from the Japanese firm, many believe that Nintendo is attempting to shade speculation for a new 4K-enabled Nintendo Switch. Already, the firm denied the production of any such device. But a recent finding reveals that the new Nintendo Switch OLED Model dock features HDMI 2.0 which fits the bill of previous claims. You can read the full report by heading here.
