Bulletstorm Gets VR Announcement For Meta Quest 2 + 3, Meta Quest Pro, PlayStation VR 2

Developer People Can Fly has extended its reach in many circles over the years. After the success for the Gears of War trilogy, the team handled the release for Gears of War: Judgment. Around the same time, the developer also shipped Bulletstorm. More recently, the game studio launched Outriders in partnership with Square Enix a couple years back.

Since then, the most noted entry happens to be Bulletstorm. In 2019, it was announced the title would be coming to Nintendo Switch. However, a separate interview reveals more desires to expand on the IP. When speaking to Eurogamer, CEO Sebastian Wojciechowski shared the developer is interested in potentially returning to Bulletstorm at some point.

While not a complete sequel, People Can Fly announced at the Thursday Meta Quest Showcase that Bulletstorm is launching on VR. You can watch the trailer in the video below:

“Today, People Can Fly and Incuvo (developer of Green Hell VR) announced they’re bringing Bulletstorm to the Meta Quest Store. Skillshots new and old, as well as the action-packed story—all of it recreated from the ground up to take advantage of VR,” Meta writes in the blog post. The game is listed for PlayStation VR 2 alongside SteamVR.

Other major announcements for Meta on Thursday includes PowerWash Simulator VR, Assassin’s Creed Nexus, and Vampire: The Masquerade – Justice. The firm even revealed the Meta Quest 3 is officially on the way. You can read the full report by heading here.
