At launch, Cyberpunk 2077 was not envisioned to be what it came to players as – especially on Xbox One & PlayStation 4. However, the anticipation of the game outgrew any concerns then which made the impact even more painful upon its release. But, CD Projekt Red paved ahead more for the new IP even before its release. For one, we knew of Kill La Kill studio Trigger is working on a Netflix anime series.
At the time, 2022 was the slated release window for the new show. It was not until this June that Netflix shared a first-look trailer for the new television series. Atop of that, September was the slated release month for it. Moving forward to this month, we finally learn that the television series is prompted to launch on September 13th.
Now, CD Projekt Red announced there will be a collaboration between the game and the anime series which launches this week. You can watch the trailer in the video below:
“Wardrobe allows you to change the appearance of your outfit without changing your armor stats. You can create up to 6 outfits using the pieces of clothing you own by accessing the wardrobe in any of V’s apartments and safehouses and then switch between them in the Inventory panel,” the team writes in the blog post.
Additionally, features such as cross-progression also makes an appearance which is a big surprise. Not only that, but there is also three new gigs to play alongside the addition of ten new weapons (Kappa, Senkoh LX, Hypercritical Iconic, VST-37, MA70 HB, Kyubi, Neurotoxin Knife, Punknife, Claw, Razor, and Cut-O-Matic).
Previously, CD Projekt Red announced a similar content roadmap for The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt. In that, the next-generation version for the game is to expect content from the popular live-action Netflix show when it arrives. You can read the full report by heading here.
