Although developer CD Projekt Red is still heavily remembered for the frowned upon release of Cyberpunk 2077 with how the game performed on last-generation hardware, the team was previously glorified for shipping 2015’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. While the title at the time arrived with its own collection of bugs and inconsistencies then, the game never met the same number of criticisms that its latest release has.
Previously, CD Projekt Red announced that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is to expect a new version exclusively made for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. With that, the game is said to come with all content alongside some new additions unannounced for the project. Later, it was pressed that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is to expect a release in late 2021 told back in March.
Now, CD Projekt Red during WitcherCon announced that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition is also expected unique DLC inspired by The Witcher series on Netflix. Not only that, but CD Projekt Red also spared the newly updated cover art for the game which you can view below:

“We also prepared some free DLCs inspired by The Witcher Netflix Series, CD Projekt Red penned in the short blog post. This will also mark a second project that the Polish developer is working for Xbox Series X|S & PlayStation 5 in actuality. In that, CD Projekt Red has still yet to release the versions of Cyberpunk 2077 with fans still patiently waiting.
Elsewhere during WitcherCon, Netflix revealed that The Witcher Season 2 is to officially arrive on December 17th. Collected from filming of the production earlier this year, it appears that The Wild Hunt will be taking place in the approaching season for the series.
