Originally arriving back in November 2019, Respawn Entertainment’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order continues to make good impressions for publisher Electronic Arts on 2021. Recently, the game received a dedicated next-generation release for both Xbox Series consoles & PlayStation 5. However, it is evident that Electronic Arts is adamant to ship a sequel for one of its most impressive releases.

Previously, Electronic Arts President & CEO Andrew Wilson remaked on Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order to being a stepping stone for what can be a larger franchise in the coming future. Additionally, claims of a follow-up entry for the Respawn Entertainment series also surface prior as well. Star Wars-focused Bespin Bulletin told that the sequel to the first game is expected to ship coming in 2022.

According to a new statement from Electronic Arts during its recent earnings call this week shared that the publisher is thrilled to further “invest” in the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order IP.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order coming to the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 was also a moment for new and returning players to jump into that amazing game. We are continuing to invest in both of these franchises [Mass Effect], as well as more of our amazing IP.

Addtionally, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order further proven its success for Electronic Arts for being a catalyst of sorts for the publisher. Coming its release more than a year ago, Electronic Arts announced to be returning to Steam after leaving nearly a decade for its in-house Origin. The title ended up being a large success for PC users as a result which Electronic Arts celebrated. Of course, market performance also skyrocketed thanks to Respawn Entertainment with Star Wars & Apex Legends: Season 3 at the time.

As for our response to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, our critic David Rodriguez explained, “I absolutely recommend Star Wars the Fallen Order. Its the next great Star Wars single player game many of us has been waiting for.” You can read the full review by heading here.
