Concerning the greater releases from Ubisoft, so titles still remain away from close to releasing. For instance, Skull & Bones: in one recent report, it was indicated that the 2017-announced title is still underway, but Ubisoft now paved the title to ship in 2022-2023. However, there are other games still on the way.

In that, Rainbow Six Quarantine feels to be another release stuck in the development pipeline. Earlier on, Ubisoft told that the title alongside Far Cry 6 would both be facing a delay entering into the latter half of 2021. Additionally, a recent report went out suggesting Ubisoft would apply a name change to the project, Rainbow Six Parasite. But, the publisher commented that not to be the case at the time.

According to a new update video, Ubisoft confirmed that Parasite is not the name as Rainbow Six Extraction is the new official title. You can watch the video below:

“Our vision is lead by a seasoned team of veterans at Ubisoft Montreal and around the world,” lead producer Antoine Vimal du Monteil explains. “Since the announcement, the game has grown a lot. As it evolved, the heart of the experience became clearer and clearer. Operators uniting against a common enemy: learning about the parasite, how to overcome it, and protecting each other every step of the way.”

Elsewhere on Monday, a new report surfaced which indicated that a new collaborative project fusing Tom Clancy IPs such as The Division, Ghost Recon, and Splinter Cell is on the way. Dubbed Battlecat, the project is leaked to be a first-person shooter. It is likely the game will be revealed at this coming Ubisoft Forward by the nature and timing of the leak.

Recently, Ubisoft slated titles such as Riders Republic, Far Cry 6, and even then-titled Rainbow Six Quarantine to be present at the forthcoming titular Ubisoft showcase. You can read the full report by heading here.
