To understand the greater image that might possibly be the next battlefield game, you will need to reflect back to one claim that surfaced back in early 2021. In that, a now-deleted video from YouTuber TheLongSensation issued the new project to follow the lines of a reboot for the series. While also squashing hopes on a Battlefield 3 remaster, he does indicate that remnants of the game is to reflect character from the 2011 title.
As from Electronic Arts themselves, the publisher remains radio silent on the project for the most part. But, the firm did elaborate lightly in some respects. For one, CEO Andrew Wilson told the game more than a year ago that it would be a heavy pusher for the new console generation at the time. Additionally, help from Need for Speed team Criterion Games would shelve its coming project to finish the this year’s game.
Last month, DICE on Twitter teased at the title to receive an unveiling in June. But on Tuesday, the firm went to reveal a GIF that schedules an announcement for next week on its profile.
However, the paper trail essentially ends there. In relation, DICE & Electronic Arts did disclose its certainty that Battlefield will be arriving this holiday. But, the two also went to spare information bleeding into 2022. According to that, Battlefield is to officially debut on mobile device next year.
Elsewhere previously, it was also rumored that Battlefield might drop as a Xbox Game Pass addition when it releases. Remarking on the marketing history that Microsoft & Electronic Arts held in the past, it is fairly likely to become a reality if time continues to form the same pattern.
