In the recent wave of titles from Ubisoft, it is surprising in terms of how many games get announced from the publisher, but still remain in development. Already, titles like Roller Champions alongside Skull & Bones still await each respective release. Atop of that, Ubisoft announced this week that Rainbow Six Extraction is now extending its wait time for the game landing its expected release in January 2022.
Additionally, Riders Republic is part of the same equation. In that, that game despite being announced more than a year ago was already delayed once. Then, the game’s 2020 launch was ushered into the year following. Later on, Ubisoft went to pave a release date for early September in an announcement last month. But, that did not last very long.
According to a new announcement post from the publisher, Riders Republic is also adding time to its wait before launch. Currently, the new date for the game has been pushed to late October just a couple days before Halloween.
We can’t wait for you all to hit the Republic in our upcoming beta! This will be the first time you get to go hands-on in this massive multiplayer playground and we are looking forward to hearing what you think.
To ensure we can deliver the best game for all players, we’ve made the tough decision to delay our release date from September 2 to October 28. This will give us more time to fine tune the experience and give you another chance to jump in before launch and provide feedback.
While Ubisoft Annecy takes the extra time to refine its release this fall, Ubisoft Montreal is working on a new release. In a previous report from Video Game Chronicles, the team is working to create a collaborative experience of Tom Clancy IPs including The Division, Splinter Cell, and Ghost Recon. On Sunday, Ubisoft shared its new announcement is to take place unveiling the supposed ‘Battlecat’ this Monday, July 19.
Elsewhere, Ubisoft is investing in its pipeline to create a similarly structured project for Assassin’s Creed as well. Codenamed Infinity, the experience is told to be a combination of protagonists and settings to bring a live-service take on the recognized franchise. You can read the full report by heading here.
Can you be patient a tad longer for Riders Republic?
Riders Republic is set to arrive on October 28, 2021 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and Stadia.
