Helldivers 2 might be coming to Xbox

Arrowhead Game Studio released Helldivers 2 earlier this year and it has become one of the most popular games of the year on PC and PlayStation 5. Many have wondered if the game would ever come to the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S and according to a reliable insider it’s been talked about at Sony.

Nick from the Xbox Era Podcast has reported that PlayStation is in very early preliminary discussion to bring Helldivers 2 to Xbox. Nick emphasizes that this is something that could very well not happen at all, but it’s good to hear that Sony is considering it.

This would be an interesting move after Microsoft has started to put more of their games on PlayStation 5 like Grounded, Hi-Fi Rush, Sea of Thieves, and Pentiment. There’s no question that Helldivers 2 would be a successful game on the Xbox platform and it’ll help grow the already strong player base.

With Microsoft having seven games in PlayStation’s top 25 best-selling list, could we start to see Sony taking advantage of the Xbox store in the future?

It’s worth noting that Helldivers 2 coming to Xbox is a rumor from the Xbox Era Podcast and no one has officially announced this. Although Nick has been correct about reports before.
